The Skini helper app

A small program that runs in the background and changes the design on your connected iPhone through the cable. You start it once, and then you do everything in the browser, through the Studio.

Skini for Windows

Install it from the Microsoft Store, free. It's an official install through Microsoft, with no warnings, and updates arrive on their own.

  1. Click "Get it from Microsoft Store", then click "Get" in the Store.
  2. Open Skini. It runs in the background and opens the Studio in your browser.
  3. Connect your iPhone with the cable and tap "Trust This Computer".
  4. In the Studio, enter your key, click "Detect card", choose a design and switch.

You also need iTunes

Without iTunes the computer can't detect the iPhone. If you don't have it yet, download it from Apple's website.

Skini for Mac

One app that works on Macs with Apple silicon (M1 and later) and on Intel Macs. On a Mac you don't need iTunes, everything it needs is built into the system. To get started:

  1. Download Skini-mac.dmg and open it.
  2. Drag Skini to the Applications folder and open it from there.
  3. Skini runs in the background and opens the Studio in your browser.
  4. Connect your iPhone by cable, tap "Trust This Computer", then enter your key in the Studio and pick a design.

Requirements

  • Windows 10/11. iTunes is required, from Apple's website.
  • Mac: macOS 11 or later, with Apple silicon or Intel. No iTunes needed.
  • iPhone, iOS 18+ connected by cable, with "Trust This Computer" approved.
  • An active license key (received after purchase).

The switch happens only on your side, and changes the design and nothing else. More about safety.
